Finally done after about 4 months’ delay!

Also, I am planning on moving the scanlations out of this site onto a separate website, probably WordPress.com for the meantime, as I intend to take down this site for some time to reboot the entire thing. It’s just gotten really clunky and hard to maintain over the years. Plus the RSS isn’t working any longer. I’ll be updating this entry once I’ve put up the new site for scans.  The new site is now up: planethima.wordpress.com. Please update your bookmarks and whatnot. All updates on scanlations will show up there instead.

Furthermore, because Brain Scans has already scanned the rest of Honeymoon Salad, I’ll be dropping the series unless otherwise requested.

1. Koneko Pancake chapters 4 and 5 (no more raws past volume 1)
2. KoiKoi Seitokai chapters 2 onwards

I finally found someone’s posting of the raw lyrics of Killer Song, Owari no Sekai kara, and Kimi ni airplane, so here’s the romaji and stuff. And kanji as well. I’m not too confident in making a translation without anything to check against, so… Yeah.

I never actually heard anything about this new collaboration between Maeda Jun and Yanagi Nagi, Flaming June, until I saw its release on Comiket 81. When I saw “麻枝准ｘやなぎなぎ”, I just had to have a listen, and man, totally blown away. The lyrics really give off this very Maeda Jun-like bittersweetness, and musically speaking, Killer Song carries a very Girls Dead Monster-esque vibe, Owari no Sekai kara has more of a general Key feel, while Kimi no airplane is one of the few ballads I’ve really liked. But enough about that. All you need you know is that it’s a godly awesome collaboration.

To be absolutely blunt, I joined up the Secret Santa Project because I’ve been running out of steam for this blog for the past, year or so. Maybe it’s just in need of a reboot. But anyway. The Secret Santa Project is a little thing by Reverse Thieves, it’s a nice way to get random people to watch semi-random shows. In particular shows that person A thought person B ought to have watched, but didn’t for some reason or another.

The three shows I was given by my person A were:

Prologue
Yeah, actually these came at a pretty awkward time. On the day of my thesis defense, just November 4, I was thinking of getting myself a reward if we passed with flying colors (i.e. pass with revisions). I was thinking of getting something not-so-cheap, not-so-expensive, and these fit the bill quite nicely. I was also thinking of the HD-330 from the same company, but from what I’ve heard, this can’s one of the most balanced, nicest-sounding ones so what the hey. Since my defense was schedulded pretty late, I kinda thought of just jumping to gun and getting them beforehand. Anyway, a lot of stuff happened along the way, like me being late because I got them. But anywho, now they’re here.
By the way, I’m not affiliated with Superlux or any of its distributors. Not that I would mind. And I just grabbed the rest of the pictures below off Google image search, plus the Superlux site and Headroom for the graphs.
