Haruhi 08 or S2 01. Whatever.
So! The long-long-far-too-long awaited new season of Haruhi. It’s a great, refreshing episode. Reminded me a whole lot of what I liked about the series.

Asides the characters, it dabbled in so many genres. Comedy, sci-fi, suspense, slice-of-life. It hits so many spots that I find very little reason not to watch.
As Zyl stated, she does indeed have a softer feel to her face after the blink. The eyes say it all. She probably fully synchronized with her future self at that moment. So moe~~~
Surprisingly, the language was generally simple, asides Nagato’s explanations. Maybe watching the raw streamed could be a little more feasible! And I don’t have classes on day after, which is Great timing. Plus it has K-ON! half an hour after, which is Just Great timing.

yeah, i loved this episode too. as i said on IRC, it’s nice to have a Haruhi in the house again.
I like Haruhi the least though; not really into megalomaniacs >_>
I attempted to watch it raw when the streams first started spreading. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I was able to digest, even though a good chunk of the dialogue slipped way over my head.
It may be too early for me to start following this without subtitles, but it’s a goal worth aiming for (especially now that it actually seems attainable).
I find it a bit irritating how they mixed the old episodes with the new ones, but hey, it’s Haruhi! I’ve waited for it!
