See, it’s funny because it’s a pun! Except half the shows aren’t really bad.
Arad Senki ~Slap Up Party~ [1/2 episode]
I never wrote a post on this because I saw it much later, after the rest of the shows. And for good reason. This show is just horrendous. Absolutely horrible. Poor, inconsistent, ugly animation at best. The plot fails to capture my attention, the character designs are absurdly bad… Everything about the show is just awful.
Shin Mazinger Z [1 1/2 episodes]
My dropping of Shin Mazinger Z doesn’t mean that it’s a bad show. Not at all. The show just doesn’t fit my tastes, as I’m not a fan of mecha. While the first episode was quite the spectacle, I just wasn’t able to keep myself interested in the second. It’s not you, SMZ, it’s me.
Natsu no Arashi [2 episodes]
What really put me off here was the character designs. They seriously, seriously need to get them up to par before doing anything else. They could’ve picked something else to make crappy, like the backgrounds or something, but to make the characters, the focus of the show, visually distracting… I couldn’t take it anymore after the second episode. On the other hand, the plot’s actually quite interesting; I should probably watch this some other time, when there are less shows to follow.
Queen’s Blade [1 episode]
I can never find the time to watch this because it’s just full of tits.
oh my god that queen’s blade cap. seriously what the hell.
I thought it captured the essence of the series quite well.
Good droppings. I actually thought Natsu no Arashi was also quite interesting (I see it on Crunchyroll), but I never got past the first episode. It’s really the guy’s character design which really sucked. I could probably have gotten used to the girls. But I put it on low priority so I since I don’t get much free time nowadays, that’s been on the backburner.
Also I managed to make it to episode 3 of Queen’s Blade. It’s good as a semi-h.
