I’m not really fond of Makoto, but I guess it’s more because I don’t really like kids in general, than anything else. Unfortunately, I haven’t played CLANNAD as of yet, and probably will not until a patch comes out.

I’m a bigger fan of CLANNAD, because I felt that Kanon was too obvious in trying to pull a tear from me. However, the anime managed to almost get me to shed a tear for Sawatari Makoto. I love her, and I love that 冬の花火 that plays during her arc’s last episode. wait, didn’t we already discuss Kanon’s music before?

Incidentally, the first and only franchise that’s made me shed a tear so far is CLANNAD, when Yuuichi reconciles with his father. And I’m proud of that. Manly tears FTW.

ajnac, Likewise, I’m waiting for it too, but good god, I’ve spoiled myself so much I don’t think I could enjoy it anymore.
manga, Hm…. Da Capo first, Kira Kira, then Kanon, with bouts of BlazBlue in between? Alternately, Kanon first, Da Capo last.
